It's funny how , decades ago , chubbiness was considered a positive feature in terms of feminine beauty . Women , then , wouldn't be worried about burning off what they ate . On the contrary , they'd simply devour whatever they liked , whenever they liked and then happily jump into their beds . Every part in a woman's body had to be round and full . Otherwise , no man would think of her as a candidate for marriage . However, nowadays the definition of beauty has completely changed ; Chubbiness is no longer a bonus ! What else can explain this bizarre obsession with stick-thin women ? An obsession that turned chubbiness into an insult and drove men into choosing " bags of bones " over " women with curvy bodies . It's also an obsession that stuffed thousands of hungry mouths with tasteless fat-free foods ,so the treadmills would burn off what these bodies already need in order to function properly . Now , the gyms' owners are getting richer and richer everyday , because everybody is willing to purchase the puddles of their sweat that huffing and puffing on treadmills can help them get . It's not like I'm opposed to these health concerns , because after all what are the benefits of junk food? They're practically none .Who doesn't feel better as they stay in motion all the time ? Apparently everybody needs to work out their muscles , from time to time . But with some people , this obsession has already gone too far , and made them risk their lives to get / stay skinny . I'm sure you're aware of the eating disorders this " meant-to-be-healthy " routine can lead to . Anorexia , for instance , is the worst of them . When you look at an anorexic body , the first question to raise would be : " God , doesn't this person eat at all? " . I'm sure you'd say it in a disgusted tone . If you google the risks of anorexia and how practically every part in the body can get damaged , maybe you'll start reconsidering this dream of having a skinny body by turning it into a dream of having a healthy body ; A body which is not deprived of the essential elements that it needs , a body which is alive and fertile , because then it can help you live a happy healthy long life
