because 3 answers were right / 3 were wrong

The wrong answers are : in the second sentence / the 3rd sentence / the 2nd half of the last sentence

We say : Catch your breath

" Not "grab your breath " , nor " take your breath

We always put a gun ( to ) the head . That's the correct preposition , in this context

When you give a ( damn ) about someone , it means you care about them

We can't say " I give a care about you " , but rather : I care about you

or if you're gonna include the verb " to give " , then you should say : I give a damn about you

( You usually use it , when you're angry / upset / trying to prove this point )

You would've known it , if you'd watched English speaking movies or documentaries

They always use this form to show that it's important to find a solution as soon as possible before things ( in a certain situation ) get worse

The option you've picked , in the 2nd sentence is correct . However , I think you should know that " were you planning " is another correct option . So , you can either use " did you plan " or " were you planning " , to blame X because he/she didn't tell you sooner enough

Sadly , in the 4th sentence , you've picked the wrong option . The right one is : Hand

It's already an idiom . We can't change it

When you say to a person : " I've got to hand it to you " , you're trying to show how much you like/admire what he/she achieved

When I said " I thought you'd notice my trap " , I sure meant that you're clever enough to notice it . That was a compliment , my dear , not an insult nor an accusation
